Job Descriptions:
Manage MTR-related projects in Hong Kong where our company acts as the main contractor. Job responsibilities include:
- Manage existing MTR projects and develop new MTR business to achieve yearly sales and profit targets
- Preparation and submission of tenders to MTR, via collaboration with close business partners
- Respond to client’s requests promptly as the key contact point, and report to Project and Section Managers for all project and business-related issues on accurate and timely basis
- Effective communication and smooth coordination with client, sub-contractors, and internal parties (incl. Accounting/Credit/Finance Depts) for all project and business-related matters to ensure meeting the delivery schedules and milestones of projects
- Work closely with Legal Dept to handle and resolve all contractual-related issues arise from projects
- Attendsite works at MTR premises (incl. but not limited to stations and depots, can be either day or night shift) occasionally to supervise, support and verify subcontractors’ on-site activities, including, site-coordination, installation, and testing & commissioning (T&C), to ensure that works are carried out in conformance with the requirements of client, and to resolve any on-site issue promptly if occurred
- Undertake other duties as required commensurate with abilities
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of working experience in management of MTR-related projects, preferably in telecommunication system
- At least 3 years of working experience in handling MTR-related tenders
- At least 3 years of on-site experience in MTR’s premises is a must
- Degree holder in any discipline
- Basic accounting knowledge for management of monthly sales and purchase inputs
- Strong PC skills, in terms of Microsoft package (incl. Word, Excel, etc.)
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure and independently
- Flexible team player with coordinating mind and strong interpersonal skills
- Good command of speaking and writing English and Cantonese. Knowledge of Mandarin and Japanese languages will be highly preferred
- Immediate Availability is preferred
