Responsibilities
- Manage and provide effective leadership to a team of mechanical engineers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Supervise a team of Engineering
- Oversee and ensure the successful execution of crucial mechanical engineering processes throughout the product development cycle, including ID analysis, conceptualization and design, prototype formulation, and manufacturing processes.
- Handle OEM/ODM projects with overseas customers, ensuring effective communication and timely delivery of project milestones.
- Define and establish frameworks for the design and verification of mechanical parts, ensuring product reliability and adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to align project requirements and drive successful project outcomes.
Requirements
- High diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in mechanical design, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity in lighting trading or factory
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and coordinate efforts across multiple departments.
- Proactive in establishing connections with external inventors to explore new product inventions, materials, and the latest technologies that can contribute to product development.
- Extensive knowledge of plastic materials and experience in plastic injection.
- Solid knowledge and experience in small electronic device design.
- Expertise in using 3D CAD systems (Pro-E/SolidWorks preferred).
- Fluent communication skills in both English and Chinese, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders.
