Job Description
- – Analyzes Heat Transfer application or wash failures and provides solutions or definitive incompatibility of current assortment to Product Developers and Customers.
- – Uses a proactive mindset to look for new solutions to different types of challenges.
- – Searches for new innovative materials, sustainable options and techniques in the market and trends. Determines benefits, limitations, testing standards, sustainable properties, etc.
- – Connects factories with potential new raw material suppliers for adhesives, inks or other relevant materials.
- – Assists in determining and implementing standard testing requirements to ensure compliance of new and existing materials.
- – Educates team members on best practices, technical details and progress of their role.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- – Relevant degree or previous work experience required (Apparel, Engineering, Chemistry, Factory or Manufacturing experience)
- – Salesforce experience preferred
- – +5 years of Heat Transfer related Sourcing, Sustainability or Raw Material related experience
- – Previous experience in Testing and Compliance and understanding of acquiring certificates.
- – Experience working effectively in complex global organizations, satisfying the needs of diverse constituents and often working under the pressure of competing and sometimes conflicting priorities
- – Proactive, solution oriented individual that will go above and beyond in finding options.
- – Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- – Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to confidently present complex information
- – Ability to understand and influence individuals
- – Working knowledge and experience in developing products and working with factories
- – Analytical, sound judgment and decision making, problem solver, attention to detail
- – Demonstrated track record of delivering against targets and objectives
- – Able to prioritize requests and propose effective alternatives when necessary
- – Ability to show judgment in developing new approaches and resolving issues
- – Ability to travel domestically in Hong Kong and China as needed
