General Merchandising Manager (Garment) – Station in China

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate a comprehensive work plan for the production department.
  • Oversee and manage the production process to ensure the production can meet the delivery targets.
  • Contribute to establishing criteria for selecting production suppliers, identify suitable suppliers, and provide relevant supplier information.
  • Price negotiate with suppliers and able to cost control of the material costs
  • Provide regular updates on production progress and delivery schedules, while overseeing the warehousing of finished goods.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or above in Merchandising, Fashion, Textile or related disciplines, or equivalent relevant experience
  • 10 years or above experience in apparel or garment merchandising with minimum 5 years of managerial experience
  • Has experience in sportswear is an asset.
  • Self-motivated, aggressive, able to work independently and under pressure
  • Strong leadership, problem solving and communication skills, cooperate with teams and stakeholders to achieve company goals
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English, Mandarin and Cantonese
  • Good PC knowledge in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Station in China is required
