Job Duties:
- Manage, monitor and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of all aspects of engineering activities within an organization including sampling and product review
- Manage the daily operations of engineering team
- Product development
- Project follow up from design to production
- To lead the team member to drive the team structure and solve the problems in consistent way
- Work on product costing, budget and control repairing and maintenance costs
- Typically reports to top management
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in engineering
- Minimum 2-4 years in product development in Optical frames
- Solid experience in the manufacturing field with exposure in areas of production, quality, safety, logistics and maintenance
- Good understanding of production processes and manufacturing capabilities
- Strong knowledge of practices and procedures to effectively resolve workflow issues
- Strong ability to gather, analyze and interpret information and develop, recommend and implement solutions
- Demonstrate experience in leading, guiding, and mentoring teams and individuals; understand group dynamics and team development
- Result and quality focused; great attention to detail
- Effectively communicate, both verbally and written to all levels of the organization
- Good analytical and problem solving skills are essential
- Fluency in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese)
- ERP application experience is preferable
