Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality strategies, systems, and plans to ensure product compliance with customer requirements and departmental KPIs
- Establish, monitor, and maintain quality systems aligned with international standards
- Ensure manufacturing compliance
- Act as the primary contact for all internal and external quality-related matters
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve discrepancies, failures, complaints, and other quality issues
- Supervise team to support in-house testing and compliance
- Maintain and upgrade testing equipment to meet operational needs
- Stay informed of new legislation and evolving industry standards, and advise management on necessary actions
- Process improvement
- Develop and manage the annual budget for quality operation
- Quality the new products before mass production and monitor the field quality of products, then coordinate to take immediate countermeasures or improvement actions
- Conduct regular production process audit to ensure production quality & processes comply with the customer & company requirements and Products Safety Listed requirements as well.
Requirements
- Bachelor in Engineering / relevant disciplines
- At least 10 years’ experience in Toys or Seasonal decoration manufacturing industry, with at least 5 years at managerial position
- Experience in sizable manufacturers is a plus
- Possessing solid knowledge on QMS ISO9001 / ISO14001
- Strong leadership with good people management and development ability, good coaching and problem solving and trouble shooting skills
- Ability to coordinate across departments, deal with ambiguity and willingness to accept challenging assignments.
