Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the project team with technical knowledge and quality control acumen from conceptual stage to final production stage
- Coordination of 3rd party audit and inspection process by reviewing factory quality audit and inspection report and implementing corrective actions with factories
- Monitor and drive the quality improvement of samples
- Product development
- Coordinate and potentially resolve with manufacturers in Mainland China
- Conduct unannounced factory audits and inspection where necessary
- Conduct on-line inspections during pilot-runs and 1st mass-productions
- Discuss and coordinate quality claims with suppliers and local sourcing team as well as project management team
- Action plan
Requirements
- Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or relevant discipline
- Minimum 4-8 years’ experience in a QA/QC in Lighting or Motor or Home appliance in factory
- Hands-on experience on product risk assessment and evaluation
- Highly motivated, a self-starter and willing to work under pressure
- Proactive personality, strong communication and organizational skills
- Versatile in MS office tools such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint is necessary, experience
- Familiar with safety standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Mandarin and English, preferred a native Mandarin speaker, German language abilities would be a benefit
Senior Post must be 6 years or above
