Requirements
- Key Responsibilities
- Quality Management System (QMS): Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality strategies, protocols, and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
- Supplier & Factory Audits: Conduct factory evaluations and supplier audits to evaluate quality systems and compliance.
- Inspection Oversight: Review and approve pre-shipment inspection (PSI) reports and laboratory testing results.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor QC inspectors, technicians, and supervisors, fostering a culture of quality awareness.
- Defect Management: Investigate product quality issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all products comply with relevant industry regulations and safety standards.
- Reporting: Track key quality metrics and report to senior management on quality performance, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in quality control/assurance, with 2+ years in a management role, preferably in consumer goods or third-party inspection firms.
- Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of quality tools, inspection methods, and, in some cases, product-specific testing.
- Certifications: Six Sigma, ISO 9001 auditor certification, or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Languages: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; Cantonese/Mandarin is often required in the APAC region.
