Job responsibilities include:
- Manage existing transportation projects and develop new transportation business to achieve yearly sales and profit targets
- Tender preparation and submission, via collaboration with close business partners
- Respond to client’s requests promptly as the key contact point, and report to Project and Section Managers for all project and business-related issues on accurate and timely basis
- Effective communication and smooth coordination with client, sub-contractors, and internal parties (incl. Accounting/Credit/Finance Depts) for all project and business-related matters to ensure meeting the delivery schedules and milestones of projects
- Work closely with Legal Dept to handle and resolve all contractual-related issues arise from projects
- Attend site works (incl. but not limited to stations and depots) occasionally to supervise, support and verify subcontractors’ on-site activities, including, site-coordination, installation, and testing & commissioning (T&C), to ensure that works are carried out in conformance with the requirements of client, and to resolve any on-site issue promptly if occurred
- Undertake other duties as required commensurate with abilities
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in transportation related projects
- Working experience in management of telecommunication system projects is preferred
- Working experience in handling transportation tenders
- Degree holder in engineering field is preferred
- Good command of speaking and writing English and Cantonese. Knowledge of Mandarin and Japanese languages will be highly preferred
- Basic accounting knowledge for management of monthly sales and purchase inputs
- Strong PC skills, in terms of Microsoft package (incl. Word, Excel, etc.)
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure and independently
- Flexible team player with coordinating mind and strong interpersonal skills
- Immediate Availability is preferred
