Responsibilities:
- Report to Foreigner – Director
- Implement network infrastructure and computer operating environment plan in support of company systems and process needs while maintaining consistency with company networking, operation practices and company strategy.
- Troubleshoot and speedy resolution of networking, operating software and hardware problems with all internal and external parties including vendors, factories and IT service providers.
- Provide effective response on daily IT help desk services and troubleshooting to the end-users.
- Maintain accurate records of access security for the GSS systems.
- Liaise with the infrastructure service providers and monitor project status to ensure on-time and on-target delivery.
- Ensure the stability and performance of infrastructure, network, and operating software.
- Take ownership of incident resolution, analyze services call, determine the best solutions and implement quality IT services according to company standard operating procedures.
- Insure network and system operating environment stability to maintain maximum uptime.
- Monitor the application database to maintain the completeness and data integrity of the systems in an efficient manner.
- Provides responsive and effective support on data analysis as necessary.
- Assist in IT and system testing as necessary.
- Maintain accurate inventory of IT hardware and operating software assets.
Requirements:
- University graduate in MIS/IT or related disciplines
- 3 to 5 years of experience in network infrastructure setup and operations support.
- Experience in WAN/LAN operating environment of Microsoft based servers.
- In-depth experience in Microsoft and network technology products like MSCE or Cisco certification is an advantage.
- Experience in internet / intranet & Oracle database is preferred.
- Experience working in regional office of MNC, sourcing industry is preferred.
- Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to details and strong computer literacy skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all level.
- Proactive with effective time management skills, self-motivated and well-organized.
- Good in English, Cantonese and Mandarin preferred.
