- Responsibilities
- Source Health Supplement formulation and packaging OEM manufacturers.
- Manage world around Health Supplement supplier matrix, identify, source, and evaluate new suppliers.
- Manage and follow up whole product development process and ensure adherence to approved and favorable cost from negotiating for maximizing product GP, quality, and delivery standards.
- Collaborate with Senior Product Development Manager to build a new product roadmap according to Company directions, ideally experience in presenting to stakeholders to influence and secure “buy-in”.
- Ensure all product packaging adheres to manufacture and brand style guides.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional team with manufacturer, technical R&D, marketing, finance, sales & operation to hold teammates accountable on tasks and timing.
- Track and analyze direct competitors’ product formulation, pricing, packaging, new launch and their product launch strategies.
- Keep tracking on customers’ insight and frontline’s product comments for continuous improvement.
- Maintain task documentation in an orderly manner and consistently meet tasks deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree or above.
- Minimum 4+ years of product development experience, ideally in Health & Wellness product industry.
- Scientific mind-set, eager to learn new things, accept challenges and take up unfamiliar tasks.
- Proactive, passionate, innovative, and strategic thinking.
- Strong analytical, communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and possess good multi-tasks skills.
- Proficiency in market research and data analysis.
- Fluent in written and spoken Chinese and English.
