Quality Manager
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Handle audit, compliant, Quality system
- Supervise the Quality team
- Manage the day to day operations; ensure that the Group Strategies are adhere to, by the appropriate policies and procedures.
- Forecast and manage resources to support key business strategy and develop plans to support growth in the new markets and new customers
- Collaborate with related internal and external parties to provide full quality support within predetermined product development timeframes
- Adequate resources and processes are appropriate to manage the business risk and the needs of the changing markets and products
- Communicate the quality policies and procedures with related parties
- Audit activities are properly arranged, attend to and resolve any issues that may arise
- Quick turnaround for the inspection activities, inspection result, shipment release and the issuance of inspection certification
- Address any failures that may arise in the inspection quickly with the stakeholders
- Identify opportunities and initiate improvement projects in products and processes to eliminate poor quality and non-value added activities. Support to work and drive non-performing supplier for continuous improvement to improve our customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- Degree holder, Quality or Engineering or equivalent discipline
- At least 5 years’ supplier quality experience, preferably in electrical/ electronic manufacturing environment
- Good at analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to think outside the box
- Good presentation skills in English and Mandarin Chinese
- Good spoken and written Englishand Mandarin
- Strong computer skills in MS Office
- Travel is required
