Registered Safety Officer / Assistant Safety Officer

Responsibilities:

  • To implement the corporate safety policy and integrated management system
  • Ensure site operations comply with health and safety legal requirements to assure Occupational Health & Safety (OHS)
  • Conduct health & safety training, inspections on site, prepare safety plan, risk assessment report etc.
  • Assist in Internal Safety Audit, accompany external Safety Auditor to conduct Safety Audit periodically
  • Review and evaluate safety performance of site workers and subcontractors
  • Any other duties assigned by Project Manager or Head of Department
  • Assist in Ad-hoc assignments as requested

Requirements:

  • Registered Safety Officer with Labour Department with 5 years construction industry experience
  • Diploma holder in Occupational Health and Industrial Safety or Certificate holder in Safety Supervisor will be considered as “Safety Supervisor”
  • Holder of Valid Green Card, First Aid Certificate
  • Good command of Cantonese, English and Mandarin
  • Able to work independently and under pressure
